I’ve been playing MMOs for quite some time now – I’d say it all started back when I was 17 and first got a taste of Phantasy Star Online.

The funny thing is that looking back at PSO, it wasn’t the most spectacular game, but man was it fun! I used to stay up all night with friends either dungeon running or sitting in the lobby and having chair races. Eventually after getting to god knows what level 70 something I think, I got sick of PSO. I later played it for multiple platforms as episode 2 was released and I still have a copy of blue burst on my pc. xD

I think the 2nd mmo I played was Ragnarok Online. RO was definately not that great graphic wise and now that I think of it the pointless grinding kind of sucked. But, really it was more of a social game. People used to sit in South Prontera and just blah blah blah. I used to talk more than I leveled in that game. The headgear was a cute addition too and you could sort of customize your character a wee bit.

After this, my memory gets kind of foggy, but I’m pretty sure some time after RO – I think it was actually quite awhile after RO – I got into World of Warcraft. Wow pretty much sucked up most of my time for awhile there, but there came a time, after gettning my first 60, that I wanted to try some other games. Since then I have played so many MMOs it gets kind of scary.
